For this project, I designed three book covers for "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe, each exploring a different creative strategy.  One design focuses on typography, another incorporates a handmade element, and the third was my choice.

Typographic (Top): Metaphor- The text effect symbolizes a heartbeat that grows in intensity, reflecting the narrator’s rising tension throughout the story.

Designer's Choice (Middle): Isolation - Color is used to isolate the eye, representing the old man’s haunting eye that obsesses the narrator.

Handmade (Bottom): Negative Space - The negative space within the vulture’s eye draws focus to it, representing the old man’s “vulture eye” described in the story.
